The software, DHIS2, is available at dhis2.org where we can find detailed information about the technology as well as documentation and other resources.

DHIS2 used to mainly support monitoring and evaluation of aggregate data (statistics), but there is now also support for managing processes.

Software - one part of the system

We have to remember that DHIS2 often is only one part of a larger system. Transitioning from paper reporting to a fully digital system requires certain infrastructure and lot of new skills from the health workers.
